A group of farmers gathered in 1905 to start and form Ayersville Mutual Telephone Company. Using Black-Ash trees, the first telephone poles were set in Highland and Richland Townships. It wasn’t until August 1916 that the Company was incorporated.

Using Fiber to the Node (FttN), 100% of our exchange territory has access to Broadband via ADSL2+. The FttN project was started in 2002. During the time of the project the DSL equipment has been upgraded three times to the current platform of ADSL 2+, allowing us to launch the IPTV product. Today we enjoy a greater than 55% penetration rate of customers having Broadband access, of that more than 63% of those customers have IPTV, with new subscriptions every day.
