Government Relations Committee Advocacy Event
In a recent landmark win for mental healthcare in Pennsylvania, the Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) tier was added for counselors working to complete their 3,000 supervised hours necessary for LPC status. This works to ensure greater mental healthcare access for Pennsylvanians in need! It also gives previously pre-licensed professionals recognition for the hard work that they do and access to more work opportunities. PCAGRC understands that new legislation creates new systems and procedures which can cause uncertainty around implementation. We would love to discuss these questions together with our fellow PCA members!
