Fellow Pi Chi Omega Members,
As we look toward the final months of 2026, I want to share several exciting updates and opportunities for our organization. Pi Chi Omega continues to be built around the people, relationships, and shared commitment that make our industry special. Dare I say, we “Connect and Enrich the Professional Pest Management Industry.”
NPMA PestWorld 2026 – Grapevine, Texas
Our Pi Chi Omega exhibit booth experience at PestWorld 2026 in DFW is shaping up to be something special. Built around what makes this industry unique, we look forward to connecting with industry professionals through personality, conversation, and perhaps a few of our cutest buttons! YOU make this industry better, and we want you to share what that means to you.
Our booth is more than a place to stop by. It is an opportunity to showcase what Pi Chi Omega represents, build relationships, and introduce more professionals to the value of our organization. Plus, you can see the world’s most adorable buttons…
We look forward to seeing you there!
Winter Membership Meeting – NPMA Eastern Conference 2027
A new venue for us—and we are excited about it!
The Board of Directors has made the decision to hold our 2027 Winter Membership Meeting during the NPMA Eastern Conference at Harrah’s Atlantic City, New Jersey, in January. Our ever-expanding goal of reaching our membership, checking out awesome conferences and workshops, and growing our membership demands that we think boldly. So boldly, in fact, that New Jersey it is!
We look forward to bringing our members together for an opportunity to connect, discuss the future of Pi Chi Omega, and continue building on the strength of our organization.
More details regarding the meeting will be shared as we finalize plans.
Representing Our Industry at the Purdue Pest Management Conference & Georgia Pest Management Conference in January 2027
Rest assured, our amazing members will continue to represent the Pi Chi Omega culture at Purdue University and the University of Georgia, with the possibility of additional institutions joining us.
These relationships are an important part of supporting the next generation of professionals in our industry. Our members’ involvement helps strengthen connections among education, research, and the pest management profession.
Membership Nominations – December 1, 2026 Deadline
A reminder that nominations for membership are due December 1, 2026.
Membership is at the heart of Pi Chi Omega. I encourage everyone to consider professionals who would bring value to our organization and benefit from being part of this community.
Your involvement and recommendations help ensure that we continue to grow with individuals who share our commitment to the industry.
Constitution & Bylaws Amendments
During our PestWorld 2026 membership meeting, members will consider and vote on proposed amendments to the Pi Chi Omega Constitution and Bylaws that have been approved by the Board of Directors.
These proposed changes are part of our continued effort to strengthen our organizational foundation and ensure our governing documents support the needs of Pi Chi Omega as we move forward.
Additional details have been provided in the article titled "Proposed Amendments to the Pi Chi Omega Constitution & Bylaws" in this newsletter.
A New Sponsorship Strategy
The Board of Directors is also working on a new sponsorship strategy designed to better align Pi Chi Omega with our industry partners while improving our ability to plan and manage expenses.
Our goals include:
We recognize the importance of being responsible stewards of our resources while continuing to deliver value to our members and the industry we serve.
Moving Forward Together
Pi Chi Omega is built on the strength of its members, and our continued success depends on participation, engagement, and shared commitment.
From PestWorld in DFW to our winter meeting in Atlantic City, we have opportunities to connect, grow, and build on the foundation established by those who came before us.
Thank you for your continued support of Pi Chi Omega and for everything you do to strengthen our industry. I look forward to seeing many of you at PestWorld 2026!
Respectfully,
James F. Miller, ACE
