Outstanding Student Chapter Award Announcement

This is a reminder that the Rhetoric Society of America invites graduate student chapters to nomination themselves for the Outstanding Student Chapter Award. This award was designed to recognize and honor the student chapter members of RSA for their continued dedication to collaborating and promoting rhetoric-related events and to increase the visibility of RSA student chapters. Along with distinguishing one specific chapter, this award seeks to encourage other student chapters to emulate the unique and productive activities successful chapters employ. The Outstanding Graduate Student Chapter Award recognizes the most creative, engage student chapter based on chapter activities, meetings, etc. and comes with a prize of $500. The Award will be announced at the conference in Atlanta, Georgia this May.
Criteria for selection: We will pay close attention to chapters that demonstrate the following characteristics:
Procedure for submission: Student chapters who wish to be considered for the Outstanding Graduate Student Chapter Award must submit the following materials (for up to 2 years):
Submissions should be emailed to RSAgrad@gmail.com by April 15, 2016. Notification will be send to the person whose email account submitted the chapter proposal. A public announcement will be made at the RSA 2016 conference in Atlanta, GA.
