RSA Appoints Dr. Casey Boyle as Electronic Communication Officer

The Rhetoric Society of America Board of Directors voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Casey Boyle to a four-year term as it Electronic Communication Officer, beginning January 1, 2017. 

Casey is Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Writing at the University of Texas-Austin.  He is a specialist in rhetoric and digital media, served as longtime managing editor of the online rhetoric journal enculturation, and chaired the Society’s Media Task Force, responsible for assessing and making recommendations to improve RSA’s media presence.  He replaces Collin Brooke, whose term expires at the end of 2016. 

The Board and Officers are delighted to have Casey join its administrative team and extend their sincerest thanks to Collin for his many innovative efforts and dedicated service over the past four years.
