The Gun Violence Project

The Gun Violence Project

The Gun Violence Project recovers lost
stories of gun violence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A collaborative effort between the university and the community, the project recovers vernacular accounts of violence that would otherwise be lost or obfuscated by official narratives. Using a multi-modal interactive map, the project uses gun violence and its nearly lost stories to make sense of social spaces.
