Project Manager

The Health, Behavior and Society Department is seeking a full time Project Manager (Research Program Manager) who will serve as the Project Manager for the clinical trial study that will take place in the Harriet Lane Clinic, a pediatric primary care resident training practice serving families from the East Baltimore area. The study is expected to run from 6/16/21 to 2/28/26.

The Project Manager will oversee day to day activities of the study in the clinic, where they will be responsible for physician and parent recruitment and data collection. They will also work closely with a data manager to ensure that data are collected and recorded properly, and with a field operations manager to ensure that follow up interviews with families are successfully conducted. Research Associate for Dr. Nicole Michaels

The Research Associate will work under the direction of Nichole Michaels, PhD, on an NIH-funded research project to implement and evaluate an opioid overdose harm reduction intervention. Health Communications Intern Spring 2022 semester

Intern responsibilities will include activities such as drafting social media content, creating graphics and infographics, and assisting in the development of various health education materials related to pediatric injury prevention. This is a great opportunity for students to build on their health communications skills and learn about a variety of pediatric injury topics. This position can be done remotely as a virtual position but the student must be able to get school credit. Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center

Project Operations Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational management for the programs at the Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center (HIPRC).  This position reports to the Faculty Director of the HIPRC. This position is multi-faceted, fast-paced with a high volume of programmatic work. The Program Operations Specialist will work independently to perform a range of complex programmatic and operational activities in support of the different grants, programs, and faculty that comprise the HIPRC. This position will successfully manage the operational aspects of the Center, and will work closely with Center teams regarding human resources, grant management and financial operations matters. An important goal of this position is to provide programmatic administration in elevating and maintaining the status of HIPRC as a nationally recognized leader in Violence and Injury Prevention and Research.  The work assignments for this position mean the incumbent will regularly experience a high degree of change and ambiguity.
