SCCFA's Capacity-Building and Leveraging Change Grant Program continues to gain momentum. Grant information was distributed to all member state associations in March, and we've already held our first orientation Zoom call. Our next session is scheduled for April 17th at 3:00 PM Central (4:00 PM Eastern).
As a reminder, this program provides non-matching grants of up to $5,000 exclusively to member state funeral and cemetery associations within our region. Awards are designed to support initiatives that build organizational capacity, foster innovation, and leverage change that benefits both your members and your communities.
The process begins with a one-page Letter of Intent — and if approved, associations are then invited to submit a full application. Whether your association is considering workforce development, professional training, technology enhancements, or community outreach, we encourage you to think boldly about what this funding could help you accomplish.
