Build Capacity and Drive Change with an SCCFA Grant
How could your association turn a promising idea into meaningful action? In a new video, SCCFA President Michael Higgs introduces the Capacity-Building and Leveraging Change Grant Program and explains how it can support associations across the region.
The program offers non-matching grants of up to $5,000 for initiatives that strengthen organizational capacity, foster innovation and benefit members and communities. Potential uses include professional development, community-based programs, legislative or regulatory guidance, and lobbying efforts. Although no cash match is required, applicants should demonstrate meaningful partnerships that will support their proposal.
Michael also walks viewers through the straightforward grant process—from submitting a Letter of Intent and receiving an invitation to apply through SCCFA’s review, funding, implementation and follow-up.
Watch Michael’s brief overview to learn how the program works and consider how your association could put an SCCFA grant to work.
