Dear SHDA Members,

Thank you all for attending this year’s SHDA Summit and for the warm welcome as I step into the role of President. It was a fantastic few days of connection, collaboration, and continued momentum for our industry, and I’m truly honored to carry this responsibility moving forward.

I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lance Johnsen for his dedicated service and leadership during his time as President. His commitment to strengthening our community and advancing SHDA’s mission has left a lasting impact, and I’m grateful for the path he’s helped pave.

I’m incredibly thankful for the vote of confidence from our members and board. I look forward to building on the progress we’ve made together and working closely with our valued partners as we continue to grow and adapt in this ever-evolving landscape.

It’s always inspiring to see the energy and innovation that comes out of the Summit, and I’m already looking ahead with excitement. Next year’s SHDA Summit will be held April 27–30, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina—and I hope to see even more of you there as we keep raising the bar together.
