SHDA 2025 Industry Advancement Summit:
Know Before You Go
The SHDA Board of Directors and staff look forward to welcoming you to Phoenix for the 2025 Industry Advancement Summit. Please take a moment to review this list of important last-minute details.
VENUE INFORMATION
Our summit venue, Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, is located at 11111 North 7th Street in Phoenix, AZ. The phone number is 602-375-4673. The hotel is 16 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Travel from the airport to the hotel is about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Parking is complimentary at the resort.

If you are a first-time attendee, please join us in Courtroom MN from 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. on Monday. We look forward to welcoming you and showing you what you can expect from this great meeting!
ONE-ON-ONE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING (“RUNNING OF THE BULLS”)
On Monday, April 29 at 4:30 PM sharp, distributors and manufacturers will begin the process of scheduling one-on-one appointments. Manufacturers will be allowed access to the Salon GH at 3:30 PM to prepare for scheduling. Doors will open at 4:30 PM and manufacturers can begin securing appointments. You will find manufacturer tables laid out by room assignments (suites are secured on the 3rd and 4th floors.) After 45 minutes, distributors will take to their tables to allow manufacturers the option of securing additional appointments. Distributor tables will be found in alphabetical order. Whether your schedule is filled or not, all distributors should be available as a courtesy to meet with manufacturers.
The purpose of the one-on-one appointments is to provide distributors and manufacturers a cost-effective opportunity to meet with many of their market partners in one location. Per SHDA policy, manufacturers are not permitted to provide alcoholic beverages in their suites during the appointments.

BEN SILVER SEMINAR
April 29, 2025 | 7:00 am – 9:15 am (Salon ABCDEF)
In addition to the host of networking opportunities at the Industry Advancement Summit, we are excited for this year's Ben Silver Seminar on the morning of April 29. Our keynote speaker, Steve McClatchy, will speak about leading relationships and radically increasing engagement, reducing turnover, how to eliminate conflict and how build high performance business relationships.
The breakfast seminar is included in the summit registration fee, but you must register to attend the seminar (this was a dropdown box on the summit registration form). If you have already registered for the summit and would now like to opt-in for the Ben Silver Seminar, please visit the registration desk or contact Jill Gabbert.
For those who are not attending the Ben Silver Seminar on Tuesday, breakfast will be served from 8:00 – 9:00 am in the West Courtyard.

WEATHER AND DRESS
Temperatures for the SHDA Industry Advancement Summit in Phoenix are predicted to be warm with highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid-60s. The dress code for the summit is business casual.
