Exploration of Movement

Melissa Malm and Nicky Roosevelt

San Francisco, CA

In this class, participants will learn to observe and explore patterns of movement throughout the body using passive movement. These movements can be a means of assessment, of release, and of integration. Releasing the patterns in the body through movement allows for a deeper functional connection to the nervous system, and thus a greater sense of self.

By gently exploring and supporting preferred patterns of movement, the client is invited to actively participate and recognize their own patterns. These hands-on movements combine seamlessly with other body work you are already doing, so you can put them to immediate use.
