Bishop Holloway to Attend Part of Lutheran CORE Convocation as Observer

Bishop Callon Holloway, Jr. announced today that he will attend part of the Lutheran CORE Convocation in Fishers, Indiana this month.

"After the many inquires I continue to receive from our people across the synod, I feel it is important for me to attend the convocation as an observer," said Bishop Holloway.

Bishop Holloway had not planned to attend the convocation originally, as he is to attend the installation of The Reverend Stephen G. Marsh, the Bishop Elect of the Southeast Michigan Synod of the ELCA.  Bishop Holloway will attend the first day's events in Indiana and then go to Michigan for the installation of The Reverend Stephen G. Marsh.

Bishop Holloway is committed to the long-term mission plan and restructing of the Southern Ohio Synod as a unified body of believers.  He continues to urge all congregations and their members to wait and see, as well as focus on our mission to be and make disciples for Christ.
