As 2026 moves forward, I would like to take a moment to reflect on what an extraordinary year 2025 was for UPFDA and our members.
2025 will always be remembered as a banner year for our association. We grew our membership, developed a new charitable program, launched a new website, created two new committees, hosted a new in-person member meeting at one of our industry’s most important events—NPMA Legislative Day—expanded our brand recognition, and elected three new board members to our Board of Directors. Our Spring Conference in Fort Lauderdale and our board meeting at Fenway Park received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees.
Our board, executive team, and members should be proud of all we accomplished together. Thank you for your engagement, leadership, and continued commitment to strengthening our association.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities before us in 2026. We will once again host an event at NPMA Legislative Day in March, UPFDA on the Hill, followed by our Spring Conference in historic Charleston, SC. We will begin rolling out our first charitable program and continue enhancing our website to serve as a robust resource hub—providing valuable industry insights and timely regulatory and legislative updates tailored specifically to the distribution and manufacturing community.
Our goal is to ensure that every member finds meaningful value in UPFDA and feels inspired to get involved in advancing our mission.
I firmly believe our industry exemplifies the idea that “a rising tide lifts all boats.” The challenges we face together only reinforce the importance of collaboration and unity. I look forward to building on our strong foundation and seeing all that we can accomplish together in the months ahead.
Sincerely,
Pat Lynch, ACE
