First up, Rick Barteldt will be giving a presentation on his experiences with photography book publishing. He will bring in multiple books covering test printing, a first year anthology of his grandson’s life and full sized separate books of monochrome and color photography.
Frank Begun: "Lessons Learned in 45 Years of Underwater Photography" will be next up.
Synopsis: Frank Begun will share information about equipment then and now, some challenges unique to underwater photography, and "fieldcraft" topics learned during their 45 years of scuba diving and capturing underwater images.
Ed Zirkle will be wrapping up the evening with his talk; "We the People, 2013" 6 months on the road documenting people and places around the US. US Rt 30 coast to coast and then down to LA across the South back to Ohio and then down the East Coast. Ended on Dec 3, 2013 in San Diego.
