Gabriel Becerra is President of Golden Flowers in Miami, FL. He has been President for 15 years, with the Mission of Helping People to Express Feelings…as Grower, Importer and Distributor of Fresh Cut Flowers. Gabriel has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Besides WF&FSA, he is a member of the Board and Past Chairman for Association of Floral Importers of Florida (AFIF). Gabriel is a Member of the Board for Floral Promotion Organization (FPO), Member of the Board and Vice-Chairman of Colombian Flower Council, Member of the Business and Economic Trends for Society of American Florists (SAF) and a Trustee for American Floral Endowment.
Other organizations that Gabriel is a member of include: YMCA, TEC (The Executive Committee) and “El Minuto de Dios” Charity Foundation.
During the last few years, Gabriel has been actively participating in Industry meetings and events like the AFE Floriculture Summit in Chicago, Seeley Conference at Cornell, Congressional Actions Days, FPO-SAF Alliance, WF&FSA and SAF shows and conventions.
Gabriel is married with 3 children.
