The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) provides Ohio’s students and teachers with exciting academic programs and resources, designed to engage students in learning about government, law, and the importance of active citizenship.
Our Mission
To improve society by developing citizens empowered with an understanding of our democratic system
Our educational programs engage students in authentic learning experiences that help prepare them to be informed and active members of their communities. Through their participation, students work collaboratively to explore and understand critical and complex historical and contemporary issues that shape our system of government and impact our lives.
Are you an educator? School resource officer? A lawyer who volunteers in local classrooms?
Then you have what it takes to bring citizenship to life for students! You are OCLRE member material!
