TLC to Launch Hunger Relief Initiative
The campaign, created in association with hunger relief organization Feeding America and part of the network's umbrella 'Give a Little TLC' pro-social initiative, looks to inspire viewers to join the fight against hunger within their local communities, according to network officials. As part of the campaign, the network has set up a website (TLC.com/GiveALittle) to provide ways in which viewers can participate, including donating money -- $1 provides 11 meals through Feeding America – as well as volunteering and participating in hunger relief efforts alongside TLC personalities.
The network will also feature an on-air public service announcement featuring TLC personality Buddy Valastro, star of Cake Boss, said network officials.
