Message from Beth -- February 28, 2024

Six years ago, ACEC Ohio invited AIA to create a joint liaison committee with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) with the goal to build a cooperative working relationship between the industry and Commission. The liaison committee meets quarterly and has been instrumental in improvements to the standard RFQ, reduction of professional liability insurance limits to match other state agencies, review of the EDGE program/requirements as well as commenting on policy changes and contract language. 

In December 2022, we held a virtual partnering session on procurement, because of the success we are moving to an in-person partnering session on April 4, 2024.  The planning committee has been hard at work on this half-day interactive forum of knowledge-sharing, professional development, and collaboration.
