Political Communication Interest Group
Call for Papers
ECA 2019 – Providence, RI – April 10-14
Submission Deadline: October 15
The Political Communication Interest Group is now accepting paper and panel submissions for the 2019 Eastern Communication Association Conference in Providence, RI. The overall theme for the 2019 Conference is “Creating Our Future.”
The Political Communication Interest Group considers papers/panels that focus on all areas of political communication including, but not limited to, the communication activity of citizens, individual political figures, governmental institutions, the media, political campaigns, advocacy groups, and social movements. This Interest Group recognizes and encourages research that addresses political communication topics across a variety of contexts and that employs a variety of research methodologies. For the 2019 ECA Conference, we encourage papers and panels that advance the conference theme of “Creating Our Future.”
ECA will now be using Attendee Interactive to manage submissions and reviews. This is the same system used by the National Communication Association so you may be familiar with it. The deadline for submissions remains the same, October 15, 2018 at 11:59 PM. You will be prompted to create a new User ID and Password to submit your work.
