Unsung and Unstoppable: The First Ladies and Facts You Never Knew

The program features Diana Carlin, Anita McBride and Nancy Kegan Smith, founders of FLARE. The panel was moderated by Patty Dowd Schmitz, President & CEO of NFLLM. The program featured little-known facts about our nation’s first ladies, including surprising stories about these important women that have been underreported in our collective history. Some of the first ladies discussed included Louisa Adams, Mary Lincoln, Edith Roosevelt, Mamie Eisenhower, Jacqueline Kennedy, Pat Nixon, and Laura Bush.
