To promote and represent the general interests of distributors, manufacturers, and users of explosives; to promote and maintain high standards concerning the use, handling and transport of explosives; to co-operate with government authorities in the promotion of safety standards; to encourage the adoption and adherence to uniform legislation concerning the Canadian explosives industry.
