At Byron, it’s not just bingo. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and compassionate Part-Time Life Enrichment Specialist who enjoys building meaningful connections with residents while working as part of a collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, engaging, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for older adults.
What You’ll Do
- Help plan and organize activities, events, and parties that promote engagement and healthy lifestyles
- Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities, games, crafts, spiritual programs, and social events
- Coordinate and assist with outings including trips to the zoo, TinCaps games, festivals, parks, restaurants, and more
- Support residents from a diverse and multi-generational population through meaningful interaction and engagement
- Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining care plans and assessments
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and vibrant resident experience
- Work one evening shift per week and participate in a weekend rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience required
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Comfortable driving residents in a 15-passenger bus
- Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or customer service is preferred but not required
