ASCA Shares Top 10 Survey Citations Reported by CMS

Recently, Kara Newbury, Director, Government Affairs and Regulatory Counsel for ASCA, received details from CMS about the top 10 survey citations occurring in 2022, and she has shared that information with the state associations. 

A new tag shows up on the list this year: Q-0246: COVID-19 Vaccination of Facility Staff. The highest number of citations was tag Q-0241: Sanitary Environment at 251, which accounts for 11% of all citations in 2022 compared to 17% for sanitary environment citations in 2021.  To review more information about the top 10 citations, click here: ASC TOP 10 Ten Citations.
