CLEVELAND, OH

NOVEMBER 6- The Brook Park Fire Department's CPR training program was greatly enhanced when Crown Acura, in partnership with the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association (OADA), presented an AED Trainer 3 instructional kit to the fire department.

The Brook Park Fire Department consists of the Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Prevention Officer, 6 Lieutenants and 21 firefighters that offer excellent fire protection and 24-hour emergency ambulance service, responding to more than 3,000 emergency calls annually. All division members are state certified firefighters, and 29 members of the division are certified at the level of Paramedic with the remainder certified as EMTs.

The Brook Park Fire Department has several division members that are certified instructors and assist in training programs for local professional and civic groups, in addition to the training and certifying of personnel. The AED Trainer 3, donated by Crown Acura, enhances these efforts by providing a realistic training experience for emergency responders to deliver optimal therapy when facing cardiac arrest. It is estimated that hundreds of additional people will have the opportunity to be trained thanks to this generous gift.

Crown Acura offers a wide selection of new and certified pre-owned Acura vehicles, hassle-free financial services and the only Acura Certified Accelerated Service Department in the greater Cleveland area. In addition to being a trusted Acura dealership, Crown Acura is also a longtime member of the community and has had the privilege of supporting local organizations, causes and charities such as Prayers for Maria, Arthritis Foundation, Adoption Network Cleveland, and Hospice of Medina County.
