Dealer Grassroots Efforts with Legislators - Key to our success at the Statehouse

Have your legislators visited your dealership yet?

Governor Kasich and legislators in Columbus are immersed in debate on the state budget and other issues important to our industry.  How can you help us promote and protect your interests?  It’s simple – develop relationships with your state representative and state senator.  One easy first step is to invite them to your dealership for a visit, which provides an excellent opportunity for you to showcase the investment you have made in your business, employees and in the community in which your dealership is located.  There are a number of new legislators who were elected last year, most of whom have little understanding of what it takes to operate a dealership.  Your relationship building with legislators will strengthen our ability to effectively represent your interests at the Statehouse.
