OAIMA Members Support Community College Program

Olen Corporation recently hosted a class of “Construction Management” students at Columbus State Community College for a tour of their Columbus operations.  The students were provided with information that will help them further their construction careers and increase their awareness of the importance of local aggregate resources.  Jared McCune, Operations Manager with the Olen Corporation provide a detailed and informative tour of the sand and gravel and limestone operations.

In addition, OAIMA Director Pat Jacomet has provided “Introduction to Aggregates” & Level 1 Aggregate training for several Civil Engineering and Construction Management classes.  Thank you to professors Adam Viney and Neal Cropper for including Aggregate training as part of the CSCC curriculum.
