OAMES is thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Blake Haxton thanks to the generous support of ACU-Serve and VGM Group. Blake is a U.S. Paralympic athlete who recently took home bronze in the paracanoe sprint competing in the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Watch this exciting video for the tightly contested race! Blake will deliver the opening message to kick off this year’s conference. The educational sessions scheduled over the two-days cover a wide range of pressing industry topics including Medicare and Ohio Medicaid news, legal and business updates on offshore contracting, leadership strategies and payer initiatives, a special presentation on the power of artificial intelligence and more. We’re returning many industry veterans and welcoming several new experts!
As featured in OAMES kick-off registration bulletin, we will be recognizing Adaptive Sports Ohio as this year’s give-back recipient. Since 2019, OAMES showcases an organization at our Annual Meeting to support Ohio's mission-driven community advocates. Adaptive Sports Ohio is a nonprofit organization established to remove barriers to ensure that individuals with physical disabilities have a chance to play and utilize sport to elevate ability and empower futures. Founded in Wooster in 2009, Adaptive Sports Ohio is now the largest organization in Ohio offering adaptive sport opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Lisa Followay, President/CEO, will join us during the conference to highlight their work and share how you can get involved. Click here for information on how you can support the organization.
