American Sprint Car Series and Drag Boat Racing Series Premiere in May on MAVTV Motorsports Network
Corona, CA (May 5, 2017): The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series will premiere on the MAVTV Motorsports Network on Saturday, May 13th at 10:00am ET, with 'Night One' of the Tony Stewart promoted - Texas Sprint Car Nationals double-header from Texas Motor Speedway. 'Night Two' will air one week later - also at 10:00am ET on Saturday, May 20th.
2017 marks the 26th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series, which is comprised of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, as well as seven Regional Tours that make up over 150 nights of racing across 23 states.
The Lucas Oil Drag Boats return to MAVTV Motorsports Network on Sunday, May 14th at 3:00pm ET. There is only one word for it... insanity! How else can you describe a form of racing in which nitro methane Top Fuel machines vaporize the liquid ¼ mile in just 4.7 seconds at over 250 mph?
