Insight Announces New District Vice President in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio April 30, 2007 Insight Communications has appointed Patrick Eltzroth to the position of district vice president in its Columbus, Ohio district. Woody Hutton, Insight's senior vice president, operations, made the announcement. In this capacity, Eltzroth will oversee operations in the Columbus, Ohio area, which serves approximately 94,400 customers.

With over nineteen years experience in the cable industry, Eltzroth returns to Insight from Comcast in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he was area director of sales and marketing. Prior to that position, he served as district vice president and general manager of Insight's Evansville, Ind. cable system. Eltzroth began his career at Comcast, holding various sales and operations management positions, later serving as the regional director of marketing and sales at Charter Communications.

Eltzroth holds an associate's degree in business management from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.

Insight Communications is the ninth largest cable operator in the United States with approximately 1.4 million customer relationships in the four contiguous states of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Insight offers bundled, state-of-the-art analog and digital video, high-speed Internet and voice telephony services to its customers. Locally, Insight serves approximately 94,400 customers in the Columbus district.
