New Director Fiscal Orientation

ABOUT THE ORIENTATION

This comprehensive two-day event is designed for directors, fiscal officers, assistant directors, and those involved in succession planning. However, the orientation also features an afternoon designed exclusively for Executive Directors of JFS agencies, emphasizing their role within their agencies and communities, as well as the importance of forging supportive peer relationships. All other participants will engage in alternative training during this time.



REGISTRATION DETAILS

REGISTER FEBRUARY 3-21 

  • JFS Agency Executive Director: $0 per person
    Applicable to the Executive Director of a county JFS agency. Thanks to generous sponsorship from ODJFS, JFS Agency Executive Directors can attend the orientation at no cost. Scholarships will be automatically applied.

  • Associate Member: $495 per person
    Applicable to the Executive Director of an associate member agency.

  • Agency Staff: $495 per person
    Applicable to agency staff not serving in the roles defined above.

Registration includes overnight accommodation Monday, all meals, and access to the event app. Those opting to arrive Sunday may extend their reservation for an additional $156.96 per room.



TIERED REGISTRATION

Registrations will be processed on a tiered basis, prioritizing new Executive Directors of JFS agencies and those who have completed the spring HR orientation. Remaining slots will be allocated in the order registrations are received, with any excess placed on a waitlist. Due to high demand, participation is limited to two attendees per agency. Confirmation of attendance or waitlist status will be emailed after registration closes February 21st and no later than the 28th.
