During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s essential that organized medicine in Ohio works together to share ideas and information to best serve all physicians. To that end, this past Friday, OSMA president, Anthony Armstrong, M.D. convened a virtual meeting with the leadership of specialty and regional/local medical societies in Ohio to discuss the major policy issues impacting medicine as a result of coronavirus.
Major points of discussion included:
The information discussed will be used to inform future communications as well as advocacy efforts as we continue to work on behalf of physicians on issues at the local, state and federal level. We thank these physician leaders for coming together and look forward to our next meeting in a few months.
