The Impact of the "One Big Beautiful Bill" on the ACA and Medicaid

Dan Sherman
The NaVectis Group

With the passage of the "One Big Beautiful Bill," significant changes were made to the U.S. healthcare system. The new law introduces major reforms to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicaid, including adjustments to coverage rules and consumer protections. These upcoming changes will impact the availability and affordability for the 24 million people enrolled in the Marketplace and over 21 million in Medicaid Expansion. It is estimated that up to 16 million people could lose health insurance coverage by 2034 due to the law's provisions. The presenter will review the aspects of the law that will have the most significant impact on your patient population. Being prepared for these upcoming changes is crucial for alleviating patient financial stress, overcoming barriers to accessing care, and protecting your practice from potential financial losses.
