Thank You for Allowing Me to Serve

A Letter from Your Executive Director

Molly Mullins Primary Headshot LightenedI have had the honor to serve as RPA’s Executive Director since February 2016. Since that time, the association has undergone a lot of changes, but one thing has remained the same – the deep commitment this membership feels for the retail packaging industry it serves. During these past five years, I have grown to love this industry as well, and the people who are a part of it. Few times in my career have worked with a more dedicated or professional group of individuals who truly believe in the core mission of RPA – bringing the retail packaging community together for the betterment of the industry.

So, it is bittersweet for me to share that I will be stepping down as RPA’s Executive Director. For anyone who is unaware, RPA is managed by an association management company, SEVEN12 Management. We have a very talented and robust staff who serve our clients and while I’ll no longer be the Executive Director, RPA will remain managed by SEVEN12 and another account executive, Courtney Truelove, will take the helm. Courtney has been intimately involved with RPA, overseeing membership and programs since we assumed management in 2016. She is fantastic at her job, and I am confident she will lead this association into its next chapter of success.

To RPA’s Board of Directors – I do not know a more committed group of leaders in the world of associations. You care deeply for this association, and for this industry, and you are the reason RPA continues to move forward. Paul, Scott, Carrie, Keith, Sherri, David, and Alex – your hard work, passion, and honestly, your humor, has gotten us through this past year. Thank you for all you’ve done. Mark Warmuth, your leadership of RPA these past few years is beyond exceptional. You committed to a task to ensure the health and vitality of RPA, and that is what you’ve achieved. I cannot thank you enough for your partnership, and friendship, these past few years.

Please know as CEO of SEVEN12 Management, I will continue to be involved in ensuring the health and success of RPA and Courtney’s leadership of the association. I know the conference in 2022 will be a great success as I’ve heard from so many members that they cannot wait to get back together again. In my humble opinion, that is the benefit the RPA provides that you cannot get anywhere else – the opportunity to connect suppliers and distributors together to do business, while becoming lifelong friends.

Thank you again for the opportunity to be a part of this exception association and industry. It has been a privilege.

Sincerely,

Molly Alton Mullins
