We will be generating some healthy “bragging rights” competition among our members.

Our BIA councils will compete against each other as well as our general membership. Which group will prove to be the most generous? Donors will be acknowledged online - check the website to watch the status of your team.

We are asking for your financial contribution in lieu of bringing grocery items to the BIA office. For every $1 donated the Mid-Ohio Foodbank can distribute $10 worth of groceries.

Hunger is here. Many people don’t realize the staggering impact hunger has in central Ohio.

• More than 248,000 individuals, including 86,975 children and 17,395 seniors, receive emergency food each year through Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
• 35% of those served are children under 18 years. 8% are under age five.
• 7% are 65 and over.
• 71% have finished high school and 23% have some college experience. 5% have completed college.
• 1 out of 5 are homeowners and only 5% are homeless.

Total Raised: $3,845 + $3,000 BIA Foundation Match = $6,845

Our gift, and the match we received due to double donation day, provided 54,760 meals!
