WHKY Radio, the 50,000 watt NewsTalk Station serving the Greater Hickory Metro is looking for an experienced Radio News Reporter.
Responsibilities include all duties related to gathering, on-air delivery of local newscast during morning drive and newscast throughout the broadcast day. Additional duties as directed including some reporting
and on-air work on WHKY-TV Local Newscast, updating news stories to web and social media sites. Use of Windows based editing software, automation and production equipment.
Two recent years of On-Air experience in Radio and/or Television Broadcasting is required. Salary is negotiable.
