Are you looking to use your creativity in a way that traditional newscasts don’t allow? Would you like to create a different type of newscast? We’re a FOX station looking for a creative morning Executive Producer who can oversee a 5.5 hour morning show that include lots of local guests, community news and interesting talk.
You’ll manage the on-air presentation, including show content, look and live remotes. Manage and direct news personnel to create and develop compelling newscasts. Make sound editorial decisions and write news copy. Hire, train, manage and prepare schedules for producers and associate producers. Will fill-in line producing as needed. Plan and create special events for newscasts. Set up guests and segments. Your tools include the Piedmont Triad’s largest news gathering team, several live trucks, FOX NewsEdge, CNN Newsource and access to video from all of the Tribune Broadcasting properties.

Experience:
Must have ability to manage and lead staff, be highly organized and have good interpersonal skills. Requires excellent broadcast news writing and A+ spelling and grammar. Must have the ability to implement new technologies into newscasts. |
Requirements:
Degree in Journalism, Communications or related field and a minimum of five years live news producing experience required. |
