Executive Producer
WCCB Charlotte
WCCB Charlotte is looking for an experienced executive producer to join our news management team. The EP will oversee WCCB News Rising, our 4.5 hour morning show. The ideal candidate must be able to balance the news of the day, breaking news, weather and traffic, with live guests, cooking segments, and a variety of other segments that change daily. You have to be able to recognize the big story each morning and make sure it is showcased - whether it's local, national or international. WCCB News Rising is not your typical show. We need a leader who is creative and is not afraid to be in the trenches every morning. You will manage a team of over 15 people and will have to wear multiple hats. That includes mentoring and coaching producers, talent, photographers, editors and assignment editors.
