WCNC-TV, the Charlotte NBC, and Gannett have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, energetic Multi-Media Promotion Producer/Photographer. The Multi-Media Promotions Producer/Photographer creates social media and digital promotions. In addition writes, produces and edits on- air TV and engaging Facebook and Twitter posts, station image, daily topicals, and/or other special promotions that attract news viewers to NBC Charlotte, WCNC-TV, and users to our digital and social sites. Requirements: Demonstrated ability to attract news viewers/users to our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter). A knowledge of Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, mobile and digital ad promotion is an advantage. -Excellent lighting skills a must. -Must be able to shoot stills as well as video. -Proficient and knowledgeable in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Edius editing suite. Experience creating motion graphics preferred along with the ability to use AfterEffects and/or, Photoshop. -Working knowledge ENPS a plus. -Demonstrated ability to write, shoot and edit commercials as well as working with station clients for sales promotions. -Ability to shoot long form segments for the stations entertainment and lifestyle show. -Effectively interacts with news, digital, sales, and other departments -Effectively coordinates with graphic artists, news management, news talent, and other staff members as needed to complete projects. -Assist with station events and sponsorships on location as assigned -Stay up to date on industry trends and the latest in promotion production to keep our promos fresh and effective. -Responsible for maintaining editing suites and gear.
