Operations Manager/Program Director

WPEG/WBAV Charlotte Description WPEG-FM “Power 98” and WBAV-FM “V101.9” is looking for its next great Operations Manager/Program Director. This OM will oversee all on-air elements with a strong focus on our digital assets and revenue growth. An on-air shift is not required but this PD will need to be an excellent talent/morning show coach. In addition, WPEG and WBAV’s new Operations Manager will be expected to be very sales friendly, attending sales meetings, willing to assist Account Executives in the creation of programs to benefit clients and occasionally attending client meetings. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of proven success as an Urban programmer, preferably in a PPM market. This candidate must be strategic and analytical but also must possess creativity and the instinct to win. Our new OM must be proficient with RCS Selector, Adobe Audition, PPM Analysis Tool, and all Social Media platforms. Audio Vault, PD Advantage and Media Monitors experience is preferred but not required. This person will know how to be a part of a team, working closely with the General Manager, the other Operations Managers/Program Directors in the cluster, Sales Managers, AEs, Promotions, Engineering, Consultants, the Corporate Management team, etc.
