WXII-TV Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate in Winston Salem, NC has an opening for a Weekend Assignment Editor-PT. Oversee news coverage on weekends, assist with weekday desk duties and produce content for our digital platforms.
Experience Requirements: • Prior newsroom experience, including internships for college credit
Qualifications Requirements: • Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of major local, national and international issues. • Must be able to communicate effectively with newsroom staff • Must be able to work under deadline pressure • Must be highly organized • Must be available for assignments on off-hours, including evenings, overnights and weekends
Education: • Four-Year College Degree
