Beasley Media Group, Inc. is accepting resumes from qualified individuals for the position of Traffic Manager for the Charlotte, NC stations. They will work closely with the sales, programming, and accounting departments. Responsibilities include producing and reconciling the daily commercial programming log, inputting broadcast orders, managing inventory and maintaining traffic records. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work with constantly changing environments.
Job functions include: • Key sales orders into the traffic system for subsequent billing and logs • Manipulate commercial logs to maximize revenue • Run daily reports for sales managers & sales staff • Create daily logs for on-air staff • Performs all other tasks perceived, assigned, and/or required that contribute to the smooth running of the department and to the achievement of department and station goals. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills. In addition, the person must be a team player, self-motivated, and must pay attention to detail. Proficient with computer programs and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is necessary. May be asked to perform other duties, as needed, for the effective operation of the stations.
