Front End Developer I UIUX

Beasley Media Group is looking to hire a Front End Developer. We are seeking a self-starter who is motivated and passionate about user experience. You will be working with a team of designers and developers to complete our digital team in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities • Constant improvement of Beasley Digital Properties • Participate of innovative ideas to improve digital sales and content driven strategies • Create and improve Digital Marketing Experience on newsletters • Work closely with the Digital Team to support daily operations • Work closely with Local Markets and Content directors • Create systems and structures to improve overall digital properties experience • Participate on daily team (SCRUM) meetings • Work effectively in time sensitive situations. Meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • 3+ years of user interface design and front-end development for web applications • BA/BS degree in Design (HCI, Interaction, HCD & Engineering, Computer Science), or related experience • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating UI solutions for web applications • Familiarity of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to conceive, develop, and present innovative and on-brand experiences. • Detail oriented • Strong CSS/Sass, Javascript and HTML skills - you will be expected to code your designs • Strong understanding of mobile and responsive technologies • Ability to create mockups for websites • Strong knowledge of Wordpress and other CMS. • Experience with Newsletter and Digital Marketing Technologies • Excellent communication skills and ability to keep supervisor posted on appropriate levels of detail in a timely manner • Excellent knowledge of the products in the Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with Version Control • Strong knowledge of JQuery • Desktop, Mobile and Tablet design experience across multiple formats • Experience with DFP a plus • SEO and Digital Marketing experience Applicant should have an online portfolio, demonstrating experience successfully designing and creating numerous projects including various graphics designs.
