HOURS: Weekend mornings, various weekdays
LOCATION: WBTV, Raycom CBS in Charlotte, NC
TYPE: Full-Time – various, includes weekends
WBTV is looking for the total package to join our team as an MMJ and weekend morning anchor. The ideal candidate for this position is an effective communicator, driven toward excellence in anchoring, reporting, and photography. We need a self-sufficient reporter who is part of the community, developing reliable sources, and enterprising stories that matter to our viewers. The ability to tell those stories in a compelling way that connects with viewers is key. You must be able to execute our On Your Side brand on a daily basis on air and on digital platforms. Breaking news must be in your blood! This is a position for a well-rounded journalist, not a prompter reader. Our weekend morning news is driven by personality, presentation, and content, and the anchor must be invested and committed to all three.
