WCTI-TV (ABC)/ Bonten Media Group, has an opening for a Director of Sales in our New Bern, NC, office. The Director of Sales will be an exceptional sales coach, hold salespeople accountable to agreed-upon goals and metrics, motivate effectively, have a track record of successful sales selection, and manage KPIs and pipeline. You must be data driven, accountable, ethical, hard-working, personable, rejection proof, self-managed, and a self starter. The Director of Sales will have excellent communication skills including listening and questioning skills, be able to provide regular feedback and confront issues without being confrontational, and have a strong closing urgency.
Eastern North Carolina Broadcasting is an ABC-TV affiliate with multicast MOVIES! channel, digital platforms, and Shared Services Agreement with FOX-TV affiliate.

Experience:
Experience with media advertising, television, digital, and mobile is a huge plus, but not required if you are the perfect candidate. Must have prior income of at least $130,000.
Requirements:
You must have prior success leading a small to medium direct sales force, generating significant increases in revenue from both new business and from growing business with existing accounts. You have been successful shortening the sales cycle and increasing the effectiveness of your team.
