WGHP-TV is looking for a weekday Meteorologist.

So if you want to work with the best, try new and different things, and have a lot of fun doing it, send your reel.

Duties will include weather anchor for the 4 pm newscast, several noon newscasts, and some live shots during the week, as well as fill-in on other shows during vacations.  You will tag team severe weather coverage with our Chief Meteorologist when necessary.  The right candidate will have to not just forecast the weather, but tell a weather story.  You need to be skilled at graphics and have the ability to use those graphics to tell a clear, concise, interesting weather story.  You’ll also need to make that story different through multiple weather hits inside the newscast. 

Technically, we operate two WSI MAX systems with MAX Sky, MAX Storm and MAX Social.  We are on the Weatherbug Network and installing new cameras.
