Weekend Evening Anchor/Reporter

WXII-TV, the Hearst Television NBC affiliate in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point market is looking for a high energy Anchor/Reporter who has a command on the anchor desk and can deliver active, engaged live shots. We’re looking for an anchor who isn’t afraid to head out into the field and break the big stories.
Job Responsibilities
• Anchor Saturday-Sunday evening newscasts
• Report for our weekday newscasts
• Have an active presence on social media that engages the audience in a conversation
• Represent WXII at public events
• Be well versed in local, national and international news
• Be able to work under extreme deadline pressure and respond to late changes
• Be available for unscheduled assignments on mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
