WRAL-TV in Raleigh is seeking an individual to shoot and edit news stories and special projects. Individual must be a creative storyteller and produce active liveshots consistently. This position requires sound news judgment, a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility in work schedules and assignments. This person must be able to travel on assignment and possess a wide range of technical skills, to include operation of live trucks. Five years of news photography and non-linear editing experience required. Experience in the operation of microwave trucks is required and satellite truck operation experience is preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the ability to gain a DOT health certificate. A pre-employment drug screening is required.
