Housing Leader Calls for More Affordable Construction Requirement

A central Ohio nonprofit says the city of Columbus must remove a loophole that allows developers to buy their way out of a requirement to include 20% affordable units in new apartment complexes.

The group also says it will work with city and Franklin County officials to push for tax breaks that target economically depressed neighborhoods, and that affordable housing options must span central Ohio, without clustering people into pockets of poverty...click here to read more.
