Advanced Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for an RN Clinical Director. We are actively seeking an outstanding, experienced Registered Nurse to lead the day-to-day operations of our 3-Operating Room facility. Position Summary:

As Clinical Director you will be responsible for the planning, organization and directing of the overall clinical operations of the Surgery Center in accordance with patient and physician needs, government regulations and our internal policies and procedures to ensure the highest degree of quality care. The Clinical Director is responsible for all aspects of nursing care within the facility and assumes responsibility as the department lead in the OR/Pre-Op/PACU. It is the duty of the Clinical Director to communicate effectively with Physicians, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals alike to ensure that the facility runs according to policies and procedures. Additionally, they will assist the Administrator in managing the fiscal operations, employee relations, as well as regulatory compliance within the Surgery Center.

Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current license as a CA Registered Nurse.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • At least three years progressively responsible/supervisory-type experience in an ambulatory surgery setting preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, team building and communications skills.
  • Needs great organizational, program development, and public speaking skills.
  • Must possess strong infection control knowledge, clinical skills and the ability to react decisively in critical situations.
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff OR Nurse are required for this position, especially orthopedics.
  • Must be able to collaborate and work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and ability to learn new programs easily.
  • Must have great communication skills and be open to working flexible hours.
  • Act in accordance with the vision, mission and values of our Center.
  • Solid knowledge of accreditation processes and CMS Guidelines.
  • Ability to strengthen and support our current Quality Improvement Program.

Compensation commensurate with experience: health benefits, PTO and 401(k).
